The aim of IJEC is to publish works that set trends and provoke fresh thought and innovation in the practice and understanding of counseling, psychotherapy, and guidance to strengthen education. This research discusses how adolescent self-control and social media addiction are described, and their effects. This research aims to determine the description of self-control and social media addiction in adolescents, apart from that, to determine the influence of self-control on social media addiction among adolescents in Padang City. The research method used in this research is quantitative correlational. The subjects in this research were 52 teenagers in Padang City who had a high intensity in using social media. The data collection techniques used are research instruments, validity tests, and reliability tests. Next, the analysis prerequisite tests are the normality test and the linearity test. The data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression test. From the analysis results obtained, it is known that the average self-control possessed by Kampung Baru Lubuk Lintah teenagers is in the medium category, as well as social media addiction which is in the medium category. So it can be seen the influence of self-control on social media addiction. The higher an individual's level of self-control, the lower the level of social media addiction can be avoided. The type of research in this study is experimental research. The research design used in this study is quasi experiment. The form of design used is Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The study population was VIII grade students of MTs Negeri 9 Sleman consisting of 4 classes, totaling 125 students. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The criteria for determining the sample in this study were eighth grade students of MTs Negeri 9 Sleman, which indicated a low learning discipline problem. The data collection method uses a self-efficacy scale that has gone through an expert validation process. Data analysis using non-parametric statistics with Man Withney (U) and Wilcoxon tests. The results showed that the counseling of the modeling technique by combining live models and symbolic models proved effective for self-efficacy (sign = 0.027 &lt;0.05). The research method used is Quasi Experimental with the application of Nonequivalent Control Group Design which provides data collection before and after the implementation of group counseling. The population of this study were all grade XI students of SMK Plus Pelita Nusantara which amounted to 352 students. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling method. The number of samples in this study were 10 students who were selected based on the criteria determined by the researcher. The data that has been collected is analyzed using the t table test to test for significant differences between the pre-test and post-test scores with a significance value (2-tailed) p=0.000 which means the p value is smaller than 0.05 (&lt;0.05). These results indicate that there is an increase in the average career decision making from the average experimental class pretest score of 69 and a posttest score of 77.4. The score in the control class with an average pretest score of 69.9 and a posttest score of 72.9. There is a possibility that the millennial and Gen Z generations may not fully grasp the importance of moderation in religious values. The urgency of peer counselors in internalizing religious moderation could be one approach to instilling values such as tolerance, thus averting triggers for conflict. The purpose of this writing is to highlight the importance of peer counselors in internalizing religious moderation values. This study adopts a literature review method, specifically a library research approach, where relevant literature indexed by Google Scholar within the last five years (2019-2024) is examined. The findings reveal that peer counselors play a crucial role in internalizing religious moderation values. By doing so, they contribute to conflict prevention, promote tolerance, and mitigate discrimination based on differing opinions or religious beliefs. Students have their own challenges during the process of determining their choice of major for further education. The core problem felt by students is that students do not know themselves, their potential, as well as their interests and talents. This condition become worse by the lack of guidance received, students are less likely to search for information about new and existing majors, do not carry out career planning, and not aware of the latest developments related to job prospects. If this problem is not addressed, it can have a negative impact on a student in the future, this is because career planning before making a career choice is very important and crucial. Ikigai is a life concept that leads individuals to formulate their life goals by discovering the four concepts that form ikigai consisting of passion, mission, profession and vocation. This research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research using a pre-test and post-test with non-equivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were 56 student from XI class. Therefore, the career choices taken should be in accordance with one's own desires and based on careful career planning.
